Event Dance Instruction
The goal: Get everyone on the dance floor!
Service Description
The jazz music of the 1940s was characterized by its fast-paced tempo and improvisational style. To dance to this music, you'll want to focus on some basic swing dance steps. My goal with beginner dance lessons for an event is to get everyone comfortable with the basic steps of a dance form (charleston, lindy hop, or balboa.) I teach groups how to keep the rhythm of the music in mind, how to let yourself relax and have fun with it, and a mini routine so you can get on the dance floor and boogie the rest of the night! Typically for a event I teach a 30-45 minute lesson, then stay for an hour to encourage people to get out on the dance floor and dance. This is completely customizable though! Make an appointment and let's discuss your vision. We will book a date, time, and location for your dance lesson during the appointment.
